   Welcome to Tempe, Todd Graham.

   I already love this man. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Sun Devils. Two days ago, it was looking tragic. Now it is looking very, very bright.

   I am very excited to be attending the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas six days from now. In a last minute decision, I am giving up half the time I was going to be spending home in California this winter break to be able to have the opportunity to attend and cheer on this team that I love. I hope to see our boys play a great game and fight hard against a tough Boise State opponent. I’ve seen us come in as underdogs to beat a tough #18 Missouri team in September and I’ve seen us fight to defeat the now #5 USC Trojans for the first time in years in October and I think we are up for this challenge. This is Coach Dennis Erickson’s last game with the Sun Devils and I know for that reason that the boys will be hungry and will want him to go out with a win.

   I have had a hole in my heart these last few weeks without an ASU football game to watch and I am so excited 2011 will hold one more game for me. As a first semester transfer to ASU, I don’t know anything about what spring football entails and Google hasn’t been particularly helpful in informing me. (Neither have any of my friends who have been going here which is obviously lame.)   However, I am extremely excited for spring football, whether it’s one game or multiple. I am extremely anxious to watch this team play again and to see them play under Coach Todd Graham. I already can’t wait for fall 2012 and to see what the coming year will bring. Until then, I will be diligently following the news regarding him recruiting players and putting together a staff here at ASU.

   Coach Graham’s team at Pitt was ranked 6th in the nation in lowest number of penalties, something that was not mentioned in this press conference, but that I feel is a detail that is definitely beneficial to our program. Coach Graham emphasizes family, discipline, and winning every day every way. He talks about explosive, exciting football. He talks about recruits and building relationships and being a facebook machine. He talks about the move to Arizona and settling and being here until retirement. I could not be more excited to see all of these things translated into action and I fully support and am thrilled about our new head coach, Todd Graham. Trojans, Ducks, Cardinals, Wildcats… Watch out. We’re coming for you. #SpeakingVictory4ASU
